Happy Thanksgiving! +free printable

Happy Thanksgiving! +free printable

Turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, potato salad, corn on the cob, apple pie, pumpkin pie…do I need to go on?

There are many benefits to having both a Canadian and American Thanksgiving.

Today I can’t help but think back through the last year. So much has happened since last Thanksgiving! I am sure you can say the same thing.

Some good, some bad, but all to my benefit (in my opinion). Every thing happens for a reason and we can learn from every thing that happens to us. I certainly have a lot to learn from and a lot to be thankful for.

I am thankful for friendships that have been made stronger over the last year.

I am thankful for new adventures and opportunities.

I am thankful for challenges that have shaped who I am.

I am thankful for family and the time I spend with them.

What are you thankful for? You may not be serving a turkey dinner today but you can still take part and share your thanks in the comments below!

  1. Are you in Canada? I heard theirs is in October! It was good to “meet you” — I always like finding new writers! Visiting from #ChasingCommunity today!

  2. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. When we were young, my brother and I always dreamed of a big family. Now we all have families of our own and all join together at his house for Thanksgiving. It is truly such a blessed time.

Thanks so much for sharing the printable.

  3. Having gyros this year–off to a Greek holiday tomorrow with my hubby. I did serve turkey burgers last night. Gross. But still incredibly grateful for what God has given this past year and what He’s doing even now as I wait, resting in Him for unanswered prayers. (I just can’t see what He’s doing, but He’s doing!)

    1. Gyros keep popping up in my Pinterest feed for some reason and I was wondering what in the world they were but they look so good! Enjoy your Greek holiday! I am right there with you waiting to see what He’s doing. But there is comfort in knowing that He is doing something! Thanks for stopping by today.
