A couple months ago I made friends with Randi from Life’s Simple Adventures. We started blogging at about the same time so it was great to learn from each other. Now her blog has taken off and it is beautiful! You should take a second to stop by.
Anyway- the Liebster Award. I am sure I am not alone in that I have never heard of this before. Turns out it’s a fun way for bloggers to get to know one another as well as get their blogs in front of a bigger audience.
Randi nominated me to keep this Liebster Award going so here goes! I will answer the questions Randi gave me and then (if they choose to) the bloggers I nominate can do the same on their blog!
Why did you start blogging? In college it was the thing to do. Then when I moved to the Arctic blogging was a fun way to keep my family and friends updated. Somewhere along the way it turned into what it is today.
What drove you to your niche? It makes sense to to write about what I know so I didn’t choose my niche- it chose me. What I am writing about here is literally what I do everyday.
What is your ideal day? Busy. I like to have places to go and people to see. And although a quiet morning all to myself sounds so lovely, my ideal morning has lots of little children following me asking me a million questions. I love that.
If you could do any job what would it be? Being a stay at home mom is my dream job. I love what I do. But if that were not what I did I would love to become a personal trainer in prenatal and postnatal fitness.
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go? You mean besides Pennsylvania? I suppose I would love to visit England one day.
What keeps you motivated? My family.
What do you do for fun? I have a lot of hobbies but I am happiest when I am outside being active.
What is your biggest life goal? To make a difference through my children. To see them trust in Christ as their Savior then lead lives that honor Him. My son says he wants to be a preacher. To raise a preacher would be such an honor. To raise preachers’ wives, or teachers, godly mothers, godly wives. To raise children that grow up and make a difference in someone else’s life.
What is your all time favourite book? The Bible is for sure my favorite. It has never changed yet speaks to my heart in all seasons of life. Other books I love are Anne of Green Gables and the classic Winnie the Pooh book.
Where is your happy place? Outside. Laying in the snow. Cartwheels in the grass. Standing in the rain. Watching the Northern Lights. Outside.
What is your motto? I never really thought about whether or not I have a motto before. But one thing I am CONSTANTLY telling my son is, “There’s no point in doing it unless it is done right.” So I guess I could say that is my motto.
Thanks Randi for nominating me to keep this going! I just have three bloggers I will nominate:
